Entry for 's weapon contest!

I uh, think it's safe to say that mine is.. Uh.. The most 'feminine' entry... Hahaha... *Hangs head and hides in a corner.*

So yeah, this would totally be me if I was a weapon. I'd actually come up with the basic design like a year or two ago. AND I thought of an explanation and that sort of thing for it.

Name Origin:
Artemis was Greek Goddess of the moon and the hunt/forest, thus the moon, the vines, and the roots at the end of the staff... Her brother, Apollo, was the God of the sun and music, thus the harp.

Abilities: The roots at the bottom can extend and burrow into the ground, allowing the wielder to more easily play the harp and cast 'music spells', such as putting enemies to sleep, causing them to dance, healing allies, and actually damaging enemies. The roots and vines can also act as weapons themselves and ensnare/strangle an opponent.
The emerald in the moon is a Forest Emerald, which allows the wielder to control plants and trees and the like.

I spent a LOT of hours working on this.. A lot of which time I SHOULD have been studying... >< So.. Hopefully you people like it... Even if it is super-amazingly-girly *Hides in a corner again.* ><
