Bio
Deon is nice, friendly, but also shy and introverted Furret. He is one of Veronika’s signature Pokemon since he is very often seen by her side and out of his Pokeball. Despite this, he is not very often involved in battles. Deon is shy and keeps his distance, when there are strangers nearby. His main strength is his intelligence, so he rather stays outside of battles and reads books, watch documentaries and creates things. He learned how to completely understand human speech and can write in it. He is not a fighter, but he actually carries a punch, especially for Furret. Deon is moody and can get angry if someone bothers him, but he will always care for others and come to help. He is very stubborn and when there is a goal for him, he never backs down.
Interesting facts
- Deon’s father is Sawsbuck, because of this he is overall taller and longer than regular Furret. His paws are also thicker and longer.
- He himself declines this, but he is addicted to energy drinks and sometimes someone must come and take them from him.
- Deon knows Double-Edge, one of the most powerful normal type moves, but uses it very rarely, since it can get very dangerous.
- He dislikes heights.
- His ability doesn’t work properly, since he needs glasses to see.

Okay, this question may be dumb, but... why and how is a Furret wearing glasses? My apologies if this question is dumb, this is the first time I'm seeing this character.

You're not the first one to ask this and I think you're not the last one. The answer is simple, he needs them. Pokemon are like animals and animals are like us, organic. This means they can have similiar health problems like us. So, Pokemon can have eye problems just like humans. Without glasses, he can't see properly. This also means his ability, Keen ye, doesn't work.
The glasses simply sit on his face, since his face is not all round. It will be also explained in comic that there is something exta that keeps them on even in when rough situations.
