Fireboy and Watergirl comes to mind with 2D platformer and Meadow has a similar message of working together without being able to clearly communicate. I know there's others but my original comment is old and I've forgotten sadly
There is also Children of the Sky and Journey which have you travelling with others without a communication system

WOAH Act 1 is done! How awesome! I feel like I've accomplished something and I haven't even done anything! Jeckle has SO much personality and I seriously just LOVE her! She goes so well with Linan I swear it! Plus I love the shot of the gloves and seeing the two fading away in the background. AWESOME job! I just love this comic!
