I hope this is good enough for , they said they accept any art. I do intend to draw her, I'm just a little backed-up right now what with work, etc.

Anyway no one's done a verison of Psyche. So I thought I'd do her, cause hey. Even Cupid needs a little love. I'm tried my best to do with what I could figure out from Cupid's a little geeky and single.

Psyche's whatever age Cupid is. I'm a little tired to type the whole mythology of their love story so if you wanna read it, its here [link] (mythology).

I'm keeping a little bit of it, but not too much out of respect for 's story:. Psyche is the goddess of... well I'm not sure. The story differs mostly she's considered the goddess of soul and is often associated with butterflies and transformation.

Cupid did fall for her at some point in their lives, but they were never married. Psyche says that was greatly exggerated by Greek scholars, those that worshipped him, and many famous artists. And above all, Psyche also states that they NEVER had sex. Its mostly hear-say, I'm not sure if Cupid's a virgin or not. So I'll leave it to interuptation of Alma, Thantos, etc.

Psyche did find Cupid a little cute, but she wouldn't marry him for two reasons, 1) the factor that his mother tried to get rid(kill sometimes depends on the myth) and cause her humaliation and 2) she's a little put off by the factor that the gods were incestous. Psyche has to draw the line somewhere with families(even assiociation). In my verison, she still hangs out with Cupid from time-to-time and may still have some sparks of attraction there.

Modern-day Psyche is enjoying the world, its taught her to be fiesty and more independent. If I were to describe her, I'd say she's somewhat sterotypical of a "popular girl". Sweet, funny, people love her, but she's not a complete jerk about it. She may be jerky to some.....like say Aphrodite(whom she still hasn't forgiven for trying to get rid of her). I can see her having a rivalry with Aphrodite on being considered the most beautiful. Psyche likes to think she has the upper advantage because she's learned to blend in with modern-day fashion and clothes. I'm not sure if she has much of a mean side, I mean besides with Aphrodite, Ares, maybe Eris, and any other lecherous god.

Hmm I would have to say her biggest flaw is (with the exception of Alma being rumored to being Thantos' pet) she's very quick to believe rumors and believes to easy. (this is what I'm getting from her myth). She also likes to play tricks on the other gods. In her defense its for "treating humans like pets". And also she's gain a sacrasm with most men, god or human. This is mostly from observing Zeus and all the other unfaithful gods. Besides Cupid, because he had shown kindness to her in the past, she's never really come to trust many of the other gods. She trusts a few, but not many. Tolerate them yes, but not completely trust.

While Aphrodite is still doin' the old Greek look as she calls it. I can see them having cat-fights. While she may playfully tease Cupid for being a bit geeky, truthfully.....she has her own geeky side that she's hiding. (still working on what that is though. Sorry I'm tired)

She considers herself a soulful person, which she does through her art:3. Mostly its music. She's a big fan of soul music, obviously. I don't think she's met Thantos, but I don't think she'd mine. In her mind, she's already got enough problems keeping away from the other lecherous gods. Thantos and especially his brother Hypnos are the last ones she'd wanna meet.

But she is curious about him and his friend Alma. She would like to meet one mortal that isn't one of Zeus's little "call-girls". As for powers, I'm not sure if Psyche ever really got any. I know stories included her to have butterfly wings, so I guess that flying counts. I've given her a shapeshifting abilites, which is how she gets to pull pranks on the other gods and goddesses. She can also soothe the psyches of those who are under stress by gently touching their hands, she calls it the "healing touch".

This really a rough draft. It needs more work. But I'm tired, I'll fix any errors I wrote later. I still like how she came out though. I made her a red head because8D.... not many red-heads get the spotlight.
