Yes before someone reminds me, look up news. I know some news, so no leave that kind of comment out. And no hate/racists remarks. This is like a whole week late (due to family, busy/etc). June 20th was World Refugee Day and honestly was considering just not drawing anything. Butttt welll I went to youtube to Refugee Day and saw like one or two videos. I dunno if it was really racist (though the comments were), the people they choose or how the video was but I was just kinda shocked by all the dislikes. Haven't seen that much since the trailer to the Ghostbusters movie. And all those racists comments, I dunno just mindset wise I couldn't stand or take all the hatred.

This was challenging for me, for a few reasons. One fashion(also counting hair in this cause I don't know what kids today are sporting. I google 8B;; ), two trying to get ages right, and third, dang profiles. I'm still not entirely happy with everyone's noses This was inspired by a photo I saw a longgg while back img.huffingtonpost.com/asset//… okay technically I found it on Tumblr first but then heard an update story on thew news once. So the story would be a few years before the recent news obviously. The two children are OCs of mine Sunday and Tally(and if you're wondering what the pink and red is. Its suppose to be flowers. Tally wanted to bring them) and behind is their grandfather. A little slow on getting the whole middle age and going on look. So forgive lack of wrinkles, he's not that old. Their father had them young. Both are welcoming refugees to America. I dunno stupid I know, probably makes no relevance to before compared to now. I just wanted to draw something welcoming.

The ones coming to be clear are not a family. Maybe the boy and young man are related but not the girl. Just again suck at ages. The girl taking Sunday's hand is Rasha Hassoun, a teenager who left Syria with her remaining family's help. Behind I wanna say an older brother and younger brother, I wanna name them Nazeer Kamil (the older one) and Faraj ; whom like Rasha left Syria. Rasha would be a neighbor in their neighboorhood while Faraj goes to their school.

I dunno I can't write anything meaningful. All I can do is say refugee wise I'd welcome the person in my home. And I see no reason to not treat them like human beings, they left for a reason, whether for a better life, personal problems at home or a war at home. I see no reason not to have them here. (again if you're planing to write a long political thing/or a racist comment. Please no I read my fill on youtube)
