History:
Francis' family owns a berry orchard in the Johto region, in a country home just outside Violet City. The reason for this was that his family were avid Berry salesmen, specializing in every berry that could possibly grow in Johto. This became the norm for Francis, and he was quite alright with the way things were. He developed a taste for music, and showed promise while he fiddled with technology when his parents weren't training him to go into the family business. Luckily enough, Francis already had an older brother Martin who got the majority of the attention. By the time Francis had turned nine, Martin had already evolved into an athletic, enthusiastic berry-selling Vaporeon. As a young Eevee with a thirst for knowledge, Francis wanted to become a Jolteon so that he might be strong and brave one day, just like his proud father, who had won more than one fight over the price of out-of-season berries.

However, when Francis was ten his family took a long-needed vacation to the Sinnoh Region. Mischievous Martin took the opportunity to tell Francis he was going to take him to a special place where "odd" berries grew. Francis trusted him and followed, not really caring about the berries themselves but enjoying his sibling's company. When they got to their destination, Martin pushed Francis into the Ice Rock, turning his younger brother into a Glaceon. Now, Francis had never wanted to be a Glaceon. But here he was, sitting on the ground with ice-blue fur, realizing that his dreams of becoming a Jolteon had just been crushed by his elder brother. Who was laughing jokingly, by the way. After that, it is said he instigated a fight with the other that ended with him being badly beaten. Their father was furious, both about the fight and for Martin having done something so mean to his younger brother. After that, Martin left to go on his own way...

...And left Francis behind, crushed. After a few months of virtual silence on his part, Francis decided to turn his attention more towards his studies and school. With his bright mind, he soon learned that he could further his inventiveness with gadgets, and excelled in most academic subjects. He read every book he could get his hands on, and especially loved fantasy books. How he longed for a day when he could be strong like the heroes in his books. But in his opinion, a Glaceon could not be strong. They were far too... pretty. In fact, the only move he even bothered to train for after he evolved was Ice Fang.

And so his thoughts soon began to grow darker, and Francis grew away from his friends. His grades in school fell, not due to a lack of knowledge on Francis's part, but a lack of trying. He'd simply just grown too bored with the material to care, only continuing to listen to music on devices that he himself created to look inconspicuous to the teachers. The final straw for his parents was when he was kicked out of his original school for having too low grades. His parents then angrily sent Francis to extra classes, and made him apply to Armonia Institute once he pulled his grades back up in the following years.

Summary characteristic: Thoroughly Cunning.

Hobbies:
- He enjoys listening to all genres of music. Especially when he's not supposed to.
- Doodling. His favorite pass-time for when he's bored.
- Fiddling with electronic devices. Could easily fix your broken light switch. Could also just as easily take apart your T.V. without your permission.
- He's very prone to sneaking. Aforementioned is his ability to take things apart. This also includes things like doorknobs and window latches.

Moveset:
Quick Attack, Ice Shard, Bite and Double-Team.

OTHER:
He wears rain boots because he has very little control over his ice-type abilities, so he's prone to accidentally freezing any water he steps on.
