I drew this pic on June 14,09. My little cousin Amanda colored it. Will she asked me where she would do the shading? So I out lined where the shading parts would be.Related content

This is really awesome.
I'm usually afraid to draw characters which I can't have any ownership of, because It's never as good as the original, but you captured Queen Serenity really well.
Your cousin's really good at shading.

Yeah, I agree with you there. That's why I like winks, but a lot of times it looks out of place, so I end up redrawing it with both eyes open, or the hair covering the eye I had winking.

have the hair covering there eyes, wow thats a great idea! i should try that one day. some of my pics where the character is winking it's because i got tried and just put it the wink.

It usually works really well. The problem with it is if you usually draw so that you can see the eye through the hair, you have to alter your style for that drawing. A lot of people will never notice, but it usually bugs me when I have to alter my style because the drawing won't look good otherwise.

Yeah, so I just have to learn how to draw winks and both eyes open!!
I've been working on how to draw blind eyes, because I was stupid and made one of my characters blind, so now I have to try and figure out how to draw it...

Yeah, Maybe I should. I've been reading Amatsuki lately, so I was trying to draw them how Tokidoki's one eye is (he had the sight in one eyes stolen by a Nue, for more info read Amatsuki, you can find it on mangafox.com), but it hasn't turned out very well. Usually when I try something like that I do it like Usagi's were in the one episode near the beginning of the stars season of than anime. I don't know the exact episode, but it's the one where she's in the flowers and makoto comes to help her, and she wakes up when she sees Mako-chan's earring (because it's a rose).

Amatsuki sounds like an interesting story. o ya i remember that episdoe now. her eyes that are white became shaded in a draker blue.

Yeah, like that sort of all shaded from black to a very light blue. I'll post a picture where I did this (coincidentaly it's the girl who's blind that I've been worried about).
