Description
Named after Agateophobia, the fear of insanity. Agateo is not evil, nor is he a enemy. Agateo unwillingly, involuntarily absorbs to the pain, suffering, and insanity of others, causing him to suffer. But because he absorbed these things from those who died protecting their lovedones, including Kaden's parents, he gained a heart.

He was forced into serving under Thanto, and was sent by him to kill Kaden, but instead did the opposite. For a while, he lived inside Jareth's head, and acted as his conscience. In the end he took Jareth's disorder, to prevent Jareth reverting back to his old ways. However this put Agateo at his limit and he put in a very unhealthy state. Kaden put an end to his suffering by injecting him a lethal does of a certain medicene, so he could finally die.

Because of my aspurgers, I sometimes worry about someday losing my sanity. Fortunately, I'm able to fight this problem with the help of my meds and the comfort of my friends and family.
