Phase three - CROW RESERVATION to YELLOWSTONE
Distance: 450 km.
Weather forecast and description:
The longest distance in White December History for one horse. You will meet your second mount and packing horse
at the train station and pack up to leave. It will be a long road into the untouched wilderness. Occasionally
you will need to hunt your own dinner - this is not for the faint hearted. (Unless you can live on granola bars and your horse
agrees to carry it for you). Weather warries from heavy snowfall to light snowfall. Which is not much variation as you guessed.
The huge weather front brought tons of snow and icy cold -20°C to -35°C.
