Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, I really love this series but I never felt my drawing habilities would be enough to make justice to the characters, they are so rich and interesting ;^;Decided to give it a try on Dany, BECAUSE CMON THE GIRL HAS F*ING DRAGONS
Expect more fanart of GOT from me because DANCE WITH DRAGONS DAFUCK WAS THAT BOOK? I NEED THE NEXT ONE LIKE NOW MR. MARTIN D:
Digitally colored sketch, also I would love to hear constructive critics, like hey, maybe you should practice more on coloring gold, the highlights doesn't seem right, or the anatomy is pretty bad, she looks akward, that would really help me out

As for critiques, not sure if this is a particular style you're going for or not, but her neck is a little skinny if you want to shoot for a more realistic look? But the shape of her face is gorrgeous. amg
Could be where her arms are? -- but those also might be a bit thin~
But she's fantaaastic and you should definitely continue the fanart!

oooh tips about the gold, only add highlights where the light can hit it, and in those places there's gonna be a super high contrast between the lights and the darks. here's a nice little tutorial that helps with colour (browse.deviantart.com/art/How-... I'd also recommend just looking at pictures of gold rings, jewellery etc, to see how gold looks in different shapes. also remember about bounce light too, the bright blue of her dress would shine a little onto the gold, it's not really noticeable but it's details that count aha. oh and I'd make her shoulders a little wider too
