Today I had almost a day off, with only 2 lessons to give (the other students needed to postpone their lessons)... and I must say, I'm thankful for this, because I truly needed some time for myself So this morning, I took a walk in the forest... It was charming, with much snow but a good hard-packed trail to follow, so I had much, much fun and it was super relaxing... on my way back, I thought about this tutorial I had seen before going out and how I so strongly wanted to play with my pastels again... so I made a kind of composition in my head and this afternoon, after my lessons, I went to the tutorial page, thought some more and started to draw...
I had a wonderful time playing with the colors, blending, getting my fingers and hands a mess of colors
So thank you Lorenzo for the inspiration!!! I hope I did your tutorial justice!
These carnations are dedicated to my DA friends, who inspire me every day, make me smile and give me much, much love!
