I was going to name this 'Disney Princesses and Princes', but the name was too long.But look! There's an honest-to-God Prince in there--Prince Eric, totin' not one but TWO beautiful Ariels! Also Peter Pan and Wendy, something I've never seen at AX before. And, of course, Princess Tiana and her best friend Lottie in both princess dresses and everyday dresses/waitress uniforms. And don't forget Malificent in the back. So should this be 'Disney Princesses, Princes, and Villains'?

Ah, well, I'll find them (or they'll find me) eventually. I'll have to remember how you did your tail, though. I really liked that--it let you walk and still looked like a tail. The other Ariel's is equally awesome, but it looks a little less walking-friendly...I'd love to hear whether she could actually travel easy or not

Yeeeaahh...she had to hop. Her fabric went down to her ankles and mine stopped just after my knees, so I could walk. But...that was it. No hip movement at all, my calves did all the work, so I walked slower and it took longer to get from place-to-place, plus people stopping me every 5 minutes for a photo. xD

It sounds almost like a hobble skirt. (Which is...pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Only yours goes to the ground, while a real hobble skirt would stop at the calves.)
And you know it's a successful cosplay when everyone stops you to take pictures! XD
One of my friends wants me to cosplay as Mermaid Misty (ha, if she can hold me down long enough to get me into a bikini...), so I'll remember this if I ever actually do it. I'd like some freedom of movement kthx XD

We had Disney gatherings both Friday and Saturday that Lottie and this Tiana ( ) organized. I knew them from before, so I met up with them, while the others we ran into. Friday was the smaller gathering so you got most of us here. Saturday's was the main one, and it was huge! A lot more and different characters too. We ended up taking photos a half hour before the gathering was supposed to start in the West Hall Lobby, then moved it to the outdoor concourse area because it was getting so crowded.

Heh, that is pretty awesome. I have some close-up shots of this group too, but it doesn't have everyone in it like this shot, so I decided this one should go first.
(Seriously. It was like...snap a photo, Peter shows up. Snap a photo, Wendy shows up. Snap a photo...wait for any more to walk by...)

I've seen crossplayers wrap their chests up in Ace bandages and wander around shirtless. If you're thin enough it doesn't actually look that bad, especially if you wore a vest. Alternately, you could make the Prince Ali costume and have a Jasmine come with you to make it more obvious.

I plan to tape my breasts upwards away from my chest toward my shoulders -- gets them out of the way & makes them look like pecs. A little double-sided tape will ensure that the vest doesn't stray too far away from my chest
