Wip 2 look how far ive come since the 19th
im so glad this is finished yet im so proud so yes I have been working on this for 29 days almost a month reason being I don’t do a lot of backgrounds that’s the most realistic horse I’ve ever drawn, that’s only the second dragon ive ever drawn ive never shaded before and I penciled the finelined EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE SCALES so yeah I had my work cut out for me and I really hope I get her and good luck to every one who is trying for any nordanners and a special thanks to Hathien for her amazing design skills and dane for sharing her amazing breed

Featuring FDS Scarborough 1477 (Scar)
Let’s go you two the leader of Falen’s group bellowed at him as his jet black Nordanner reared and took off towards the mountain pass.
The small group of consisted of mostly men with a few women about Falen’s age or a little older all mounted on gorgeous Nordies equipped with full dragon tack.
Suddenly Cora slowed her pace. Something was off. There was a smell coming upwind from them. Cora stopped almost causing the stallion behind her to collide into her rump.
“Watch it…Cora?” the stallion said running up beside her.
“Scar?” Cora said just as the other riders came running back towards them.
“DRAAAAAGGONSSS” Screamed the group leader as he thundered past his stallion letting out a shrill warning.
“Why don’t those cowards fight!!!” Cora said in disgust finally noticing Falen shifting nervously in the saddle as he yanked the reins trying to make Cora resume motion.
“Cora…… that’s why” Scar said grabbing Cora’s reins pulling her away from the large group of incoming dragons too many for the small group to handle.
“No, I am not going to run,” Cora said suddenly stopping throwing Falen forward from the saddle.
“Falen!” Scar’s rider exclaimed jumping off of scar to help her fallen friend.
“Cora…. your mad-----”
But Cora didn’t hear the rest of what scar said because she was already racing up the hill towards the dragons.
“Come and get some……” as she reached the top of the hill she noticed the dragons had disappeared. All that was left was one set of tracks next to a long drag mark.
“Ah one of them has an injured wing what a bunch of weaklings.” Cora snorted.
As she continued on, there had been no sign of any dragons; that was until Cora reached the mountain’s peak.
The sun was setting behind the mountains as Cora stepped foot on the cleared peak. She was standing in dusty black dirt probably from the extinct volcano she was standing on. To her left were a bunch of rounded rocks pushed to the side some had moss growing on them others had dark shrubby grass blowing against them. Then to her left was the edge of the peak and the surrounding mountains. But there in front of her laid a enormous red beast that smelled like sulphur yet it shined like a ruby.
“You wanna go toe to toe with me pretty boy?” Cora said glaring at the foul beast.
The dragon replied by spitting a flame, but Cora swore she heard him say
“Bring it”
