And this is one of the few reasons why.
I made my dad listen to Cyndi Lauper the whole way up to Oregon (from Texas) one year in the car. He just about killed himself, poor fellow. This was back in the end of the 80s, and I was an 11-year old teenie bopper just crooning my little lungs out.
I am happy to see her face again.
