I really like it! You were pretty considerate to offer me some advice, so I think maybe even though I'm not as skilled, I can offer a little feedback.
If I could mention something without discussing the hands/arms (having already skimmed and seen those touched on) I would say that maybe the side profile of the one on the left needs a bit of work. It almost seems.. Off. I know facial profiles can be a real challenge though, so I shan't hold it against you.

It seems more flat than it reasonably should, and where the chin should lead off to the jawline almost looks like her chine just goes straight into the neck, so perhaps having that come to more of an upward angle could be desirable.

Soooo I saw you wanted some sort of critique for this piece on Tom's journal... I know I am definitely not the best artist out there but I hope I can help in any way... ;v;'
First of all, I think the shading is quite good! I like the way you drew the folds in the clothes! I would suggest, though, maybe shading the face and the neck more, so it can look less flat.
Also, you said you were aware of the small hands, and that's good, but I think maybe Chihiro's arms are a little too skinny? I am not sure whether it is your style or not...
But I like how you drew the grass, and the some sort of perspective... I think it's a good piece overall.

I tend to draw people too skinny far too often. xP I guess it is my style, but maybe I should change it. And I will try to shade the face and neck more.

This is super cute.
As for feedback, the hands seem a bit small in this piece. I also think that Haku's foot looks stiff, like, if it bent more at the ball of his foot, it would look more natural. The coloring does a good job of showing that it's night time with a small amount of light. And the use of creasing and wrinkles in the clothing is very impressive, the shading and textures on the fabric is really nice.

Maybe make the necks a little thicker? Not sure if that was intended either. xD
Also, try using different colors for shading? There was this color theory tutorial that I found, but I lost it. ;A; I remember that it stated that if the highlights are cool colors, then the shadows are warm colors, and vice versa. Also, light reflects off of other items. It would add more depth to the picture and tie the characters in with the background. ^.^
