Yosemite National Park on average a year has over 4 million visitors! In August 2016 they hit the record of 5 million! Themajority of the visitors spend most of their time in seven miles of the Yosemite Valley!
The Yosemite National Park is 747,956 acres of land! WHOA! Within the acres of land it reaches across the slopes of Sierra Nevada mountain range! ((Which is like one of my favorite parts of California ))

Yeah, I noticed snow in the mountains takes a lot of time to melt even if when it's warm.

It depends on the area and the type of snow that fell. An area that I live in still has a lot of snow on the ground.
