This is my good friend Cynthia Brisentine. She is in her 50s and is diagnosed with a serious cerebral disease known as Cerebral Palsy. She, and her husband, Jerry, are currently homeless and living in a tent. Although she has all the bare necessities available to her, she is in need of some extra help. In November of 2018, she and Jerry have been in a terrible car accident while on their way to a VA appointed for her husband. Although both have managed to escape any serious injuries, it cost them a $500 deductible thus raising their insurance from $300 to $551. On top of paying their usual car payment of $437, these charges have set them back on their storage payments by two months.

They now owe $1150 on two storage units. These two storage units hold literally all they have left of their old home. The storage people has given them until March 21, 2019, to pay off their debt, otherwise, their units will be seized and auctioned off to the highest bidder. Due to her condition, Cynthia is unable to hold down a job on her own and her husband is legally disabled and unable to do physical labor. All they want is to catch up on their storage payments so as to lessen the financial strain they are under. They have a chance to rent a new home for themselves in March, but the thought of losing their furniture before they could get their new home is causing them must distress.
