I have, but i never seem to get the effect maybe my paper is too wet? Is that possible?

Aww bummer! I don't think so, but I'm not positive. My paper is super wet when I use it. I don't think it should be dry at all.
Did you use table salt or sea salt?
I have noticed the different salts cause it to look slightly different.
Also last night I was painting and I did a background and put the salt on it. And then I put another layer on the background and more salt, but the second time just seemed to cause it to not have much texture at all

Hmm....i have used both...i think...can't remember. I'm doing something wrong, i'll get salt with bigger crystals next time. My paper was pretty wet but all it did was leave a small darker stain around the salt crystal. Almost no effect.
Mhm, i had a feeling this effect only works once I'm trying alcohol/nail polish remover, but i'm getting slight troubles with that as well It should replace my (perhaps) failed attempts with salt

Oh cool! I didn't know nail polish remover had an effect. I'll have to try that.
My alcohol is only 70%. I read that I need 90% for it to have a very good effect. I keep forgetting to get some more

I used nail polish remover because i had no alcohol myself The results vary from brand to brand, i'd say. Hope it was somewhat useful
P.S. Sorry about me replying only today, this account has been deserted and i have no idea if i will keep it No motivation and energy, etc.
