Well how good the depth of field is.. The head is blurred and not the body, when i take pics like that its all in focus, I haven't had my 350D long.. WHat settings etc did you use?

It is a matter of aperture. I guess I used the 1.8...Look beneath the image, there is the EXIF data. So the DOF is pretty small. Rise the aperture and the sharp areas of the image will increase. But it is also a matter of how close you are to the subject matter. I guess the distance between me and the cat was about 0.5 meters...if I would be more away from the cat for example 2 or 3 meters the cat would be sharper too, but also much much smaller.
