Description Chorus:
Sieh doch nur
Wie die Nacht
Sich so schön gemacht hat
Für uns beide
Für uns beide

I
Und dann wat' ich in den See
Bis ich Wasser atme
Für uns beide
Für uns beide
Und dann häng' ich mich dort hin
Und schwing' so schön im Wind
Fü;r uns beide
Für uns beide

Chorus

II
Und dann spring' ich von dem Turm
Schweb' ein kleines Weilchen
Für uns beide
Für uns beide
Und dann senk' ich scharfen Stahl
Tief in meine Adern
Für uns beide
Für uns beide

Chorus

III
Und dann bin ich endlich frei
Von dem Schmerz - es ist vorbei
Für uns beide
Für uns beide
Und dann bist auch du befreit
Sieh, der Weg war nicht sehr weit
Für uns beide
Für uns beide

2x Chorus

Ja, ich weiß, ich hänge ziemlich hinterher.
Ich sollte dringend eine ganze Menge tunes aufnehmen, komme jedoch einfach nicht dazu.
Ich hoffejedoch, dass es diesen Sommer endlich was wird.

Actually, I don't think it reads as lame or boring, I think that it is powerful even as poetry, and it has certainly made me think after reading it.

At first I thought this was for Seigrun, but now I'm not sure..

If it was, do you often feel like this about death? Or am I reading too much into just a song?

Well, it's not for Sigi, that's right.
I don't remember exactly why I wrote it, usually song lyrics just pop into my head and simply appear, and sometimes I do not know what they mean.
I wrote this one here well over a year ago.
It is about a relationship somehow, and about freedom in death.
The protagonist dies without regret and without pain. The repetition of the chorus lines add some kind of sweet melacholy.
Of course it all implies that something went wrong with their relationship, and that the protagonist was not happy in their life, but somehow, when the song is over, you get the weird feeling that everything is alright now.
At least that is what I think about it.

I don't really know if it is about me at all, suicide is just a metaphor I think, as in leaving something behind, going away and not come back.
Well.
(Do you need a translation to understand it better?)

Perhaps it was either prescience or on some level you already knew..

I can't translate
'Sieh doch nur'
at all

It means "just look". Or something like that.
"Sieh" = imperative of "sehen" (="see", "look")
"doch" is a word you use in German to underline what you are saying. I don't think it can be translated.
"nur" = "only", "just"

Haha you know, you can always ask me now.
I don't have a big problem with translating my stuff any more.
