This image reminds of those horror movies in which a beautiful, apparently innocent girl turns out to be a silent killer.
I love the fact that the image looks very realistic, and mystic at the same time. Her eyes giving me the impression that she sees trough everything.
The forest, the roses, all are blended so well and beautifully together, to give the impression of something dreamy.
The title fits so well with the image - ghostly and distant.
You did such a great job with the details, and with the painting, you are truly talented when comes to this part.

This is an awesome image but I do find that her face looks a bit too cartoon-ish compared to everything else around her. Other than that I think the piece is truly beautiful for a couple of reasons. The first is that when I look at it, it reminds me of some enchanting warm fall day, when the sun is slowly about to start setting.. it reminds me of good memories that I have had back in Canada and it caught my eye as soon as i saw it because the trees look like that there. Another reason I love this piece is the fact that despite there is sorrow in her eyes and her hands are tied.. there is still beauty in the picture and isn't depressing as other people make their artwork. It's inspirational and the fairy-like glows don't stick out in any way but everything fits together as if it truly is one complete picture.
