It does give it a more realistic look if I do make the cross-hatches more 'refined'. I must be honest though I tend to rush things and as mentioned I am a lazy-arse...but I'll try be more diligent the next time.

i know what u mean wiv rushing things, i loose interest very easily so if im draing someit i got to draw it there and then, if i dont theres a high possibily that i wont get bk to it (as u can see most of my pics in my gallery are not coloured hehehe *nervous laugh*)

Ah yet another piece of art from you yeo-chan. I love the shading and the textures in the piece. I also like the prespective in that we, the viewers, can't see either Shikamaru's or Hinata's expression since their backs are turned- Hinata- or head is turned to the side. The lack of visual expression actually says a lot, it could be unrequited love, maybe from Shikamaru to Hinata, or just a sense of...some kind of sadness I guess is a good word for it.
