In her six month letter, Barbara had laid out in detail a lot of terrible things occurring at the Pole. After speaking with Claus, he had decided to draw the League there sooner in order to invalidate the whole agreement and pave the way to claim his third wife. Now nine months since her arrival, Barbara was already almost unrecognizable. Her hair now sported multiple strips of white and her waistline had grown beyond even her wildest imagination. Barbara and Kara spent most days together, lounging and eating. A string of expletives could be heard whenever the smallest thing was not right. This was everything she imagined, Barbara thought to herself. Everything she wanted. As Barbara continued to embrace her transformation the more wicked she seemed to become...and she reveled in it.

"We cannot allow this stand" Diana shouted at the meeting. "Hera knows what they are doing to her and to the rest of the poor inhabitants of the North Pole!" "I understand your frustration Diana but we cannot intervene yet, the consequences may be worse than they are now" Clark said back to her. "I cannot simply stand by and allow this to continue. I have already had to wait three months longer than I wanted." "Diana, we can't..." but Diana had already stormed off.

The next steps would be important for Claus' plan and Diana was playing into his hands.
