WHAAAT? Traditional art?Yup
Only the scan didn't turn out so nice
Oh well...My mom, like her parents (who I drew the white-tailed deer for,) prefers my real-animal art over my fantasy-animal art... So no dragons for her!
She likes birds though. Almost every time I ask, "hey mom, what should I draw?" She replies with some type of bird. I think she prefers my traditional art too, because she can actually frame it or set it on her desk at work for her students to see Yeah, she's a teacher...SO YEAH! This was done with watercolor pencils. Not watercolor PAINTS, but pencils
They're my favorite traditional medium to work with. You color a drawing like you would with a colored pencil, and then add water over it with a paintbrush and HUZZAH! It's supposed to look like watercolors if you do it correctly 
I didn't really do it correctly, so you can still see the pencil strokes in the sky and a little bit in the rock. Oh well. This was more of a test run anyway Reference used from an old animal encyclopedia from the 1980's that I have

Yeah, ever since I got a tablet, I haven't done much traditional stuff... But I still know how to do it, because I didn't get a tablet until about 2 1/2 years ago
