I feel like the Xenophobic Grey knight paladin would kill what I think is an elf rather than befriend it, nor would he abandon his duty tot he emperor under any circumstances, but despite the fact im a total douche and I chose to state publicly how nerdy I am when it comes to warhammer I really really like this picture

Whoever say Grey Knights are Xenophobic? Are you mistaken with the Deathwatch? I am a fan of Grey Knights and Eldar and your comment disturbs me. The fluff clearly states that the Grey Knights rescued the souls of deceased people of Craftworld Malantai (destroyed by Tyranids) from a greater daemon of Slaanesh who sought to consume them. When the Chaos being has been slain, the Grey Knights valiantly stay behind to guard the Infinity Circuit until another Craftworld could be contracted to begin extraction.
Inferring from the fluff, the Grey Knights and Eldar share a lot in common, both being completely made up of psykers. They know the pain of having presence in the Warp and can teach each other the way to control it.Β

Well those Eldar were Techincally dead so passing their souls to the afterlife was just a way to get them out of the imperium's hair

Okay thanks! I will see to it if it's true because it's pretty rare for someone who is as elite as the Grey Knight themselves

If you've read the backstory on Lofn (which is based on this [link] ) she is a half-human, half eldar child that has the terrifying ability to turn ANY creature (humanoid or otherwise) completely docile in her presence without even giving it a second thought ( [link] ).

Well Granted Id give you that but the Holy Ageis that is built into their armor as well as the same kind of purity webbingish thing implanted under their skin and the fact that they discard their lives and a majority of their personalities and almost all of their prior memories are completley erased and replaced wiht faith in the emporer their so fully indoctrinated tot eh emporer that i dont know if it would wokr on a grey knight let alone a paladin because theyre powerful psykers i could see it on literally any kind of space marine expect the grey knights, but then again i dont know that much about Lofn and it still dosent change the fact that i still like the picture

"Well Granted Id give you that but the Holy Ageis that is built into their armor..."
The Holy Aegis is designed for Unholy Entities of the warp... not docile psychic entities.

"as well as the same kind of purity webbingish thing implanted under their skin..."
If you're referring to the Grey Knights specialized Black Carapace, it's designed to allow them to interface their bodies and the holy artifact that is their armor.Β  Again, it adds another layer of protection against unholy entities.Β  Unless Lofn is Daemon corrupted, the Grey Knight has no reason to want to kill her--especially if the said Grey Knight is acting under orders from the Inquisition.

"...the fact that they discard their lives and a majority of their personalities and almost all of their prior memories are completley erased and replaced wiht faith in the emporer..."
There are exceptions to that.Β  A few Grey Knights have been able to keep their memories and personalities--most who have, have become Grand Masters, and Brother-Captains.

"...that i dont know if it would wokr on a grey knight let alone a paladin because theyre powerful psykers i could see it on literally any kind of space marine expect the grey knights..."
True, they are EXTREMELY powerful psykers, but I can imagine a scenario like this happening because of orders from the Inquisition.Β  According to Lofn's author, the Inquisition is keeping a close eye on Lofn, but not attempting to outright kill her (which is surprising) so, it's safe to assume that the Grey Knight that is depicted in this picture was acting under orders.

Then again, I'm probably reading WAYYYY too much into this.Β

all in all, very nice d'aww material.
As to why the grey knights would keep her. Just by standing there she calms things down, in essence she's anti-chaos.

I'm good at writing when I get past the first few sentences and I have around the first two chapters planed out but I struggle with starting projects and this is one that would be most anticipated and I don't want to muck it up and stain one of the Internets most loved fan written stories. I feel so confused
