EDIT:HUGE update. I'll explain what and why on my blog. Original is still on my blog.Finally got all of the rust from my vacation shaken off.
This pose is obviously stolen from an image I found of Bruce Lee doing a jump kick.
I don't remember where, but I heard that they are going to incorporate MMA fighting styles in to bending. Something about how bending has developed or something like that.
I hate watching MMA. It always starts off interesting but degenerates in to something that is far too homo-erotic for me to find entertaining.
But one thing every MMA athelete seems to have in common is comparing themselves to Bruce Lee. I find it extremely obnoxious.
So I thought it would be great if you had all of these benders fighting MMA style, then Korra pulls out some Bruce Lee shit and flat out destroys them.

Bruce was the first man to mix martial arts. It's a damn shame them weird fuckers on the ufc think they're anything like Little Dragon Lee.
They're really gonna incorporate MMA into bending? I thought there already was Baguazhang for Air, Taichi for Water (Watah, if you will), Hung Gar for Earth, and Northern Shaolin for Fire.

Your stuff is always amazing, and this one really stands out. I think Korra may be getting the most fanart of a show that hasn't actually started ever! But there's a good reason, of course.

Now this reminds me of the 2 moves in Fist of The North Star, Nanto Gokuto Ken (South Star Hell Slaughter Fist) and Hokuto Hiei Ken (North Star Defensive Fist) [link]
But MMA, I think you gotta blame Brazilian Jiujitsu man, cause they emphasize on the guard position hence the homo eroticness of it. And besides the Best MMA fighter for an Anime character has to be Juuza of The Clouds from the Nanto Goshasei from Fist Of The North Star, he even did an armbar on Raoh lol.
Might as well the mix Bending ala Fist Of The North Star hahaha.

I've watched MMA...I perfer cheesy, low budget kung-fu and samurai moves. Seven Samurai, The Return of the One Armed Swordsman, Master of the Flying Guilloten, so many moves I've seen and still so many I want to see. 7 Grand Masters looks really good...
The picture is very nice, looking forward to the inevitable Toph/Korra tag team picture. Keep doing what you do, it seems to suit you at this point.
