It is a self portrait, or at least you say that you took it yourself. I have seen many self portraits in the 'self portrait' section that are simply that, and have, for short periods, placed simple self portraits in that section as well, without comment. (I am not big on self portraits).
Perhaps you should ask the people who are commenting about where these should be, and why.

Nice image in many ways but the camera has picked up the brightness of the background leaving the foreground a bit too dark for my liking, also, there is too much background and not enough Morganmarie, but I will download and try to bring it more to my liking.
The model? Wonderful: you know that you are attractive, you have a lovely face and hair, great figure, flat tummy and slender legs.

i respectfully disagree...... i like the
way the foreground looks....... the shadows
make her seem like she's shrouded in mystery
while her natural beauty makes her look as if
she were a forbidden treasure.......
or maybe that's just my imagination taking it
somewhere that it's not intended to be.......? 0_o

Have you tried downloading, cropping and brightening the foreground? But you are entitled to your opinion.

Faie enough, I don't have full photoshot either, but get by with an old arcsoft photostudio and and even old corel, am leaning to use the stripped down version of photoshop though - Photoshop elements.
But you may want to check on Irfanview - a free downloadable program that does far more than MSpaint
