Description Let's get the ball rolling!
This scene is set just after Esther's first pokemon gym battle. Her full pokemon team will be introduced in Page two. The Totodile's name is Matilda, or 'Tilda for short.


The following were my Nuzlocke Rules, but I decided to dramatise the story further, removing the trial attempts. I'll state on the page when a rule was followed or not.

NUZLOCKE RULES:

*If it faints in the wild, it’s dead. Gym Leader battles follow a three strikes rule for that specific Gym. 'Dead' pokemon are permaboxed (though since then they have been migrated to Gen VI.).

*No repeat captures. If a previously caught Pokemon is encountered, allowed more encounters until previously uncaptured pokemon is encountered.

*If a capture of a pokemon is necessary to complete/further the gameplay, two captures are allowed. One of the said pokemon (Sudowoodu, Suicune, Gyarados etc)

*One capture per route. Rule is invalid if previous rule is in force.

*Healing items are allowed. Revives are not.

*Name every pokemon originally! No two pokes with the same name!

*1-Hit Self-KO moves are not allowed to be taught to a pokemon. If, by Metronome or other random choice moves, a 1-Hit Self Injury Occurs, such as Explosion or Perish Song, the faint=death rule is void. Explosions from enemy pokemon that cause a faint are not void.

That Raikou looks beastly awesome! Cool! Also, banning Self-KO moves seems like a good idea (considers implementing for her own future nuzlockes...).

Raikou is my favourite legendary beast. When I was playing the game, he just would not leave me alone, so I decided to reference this in the comic. Also, if you like, I could introduce the three legendary beasts early in a concept sheet so everyone can see their overall designs.

Haha, well hopefully the level of quality will be maintained throughout the whole run.
I was reacquainting myself with the script for Chapter One– I was surprised with how short it was.
