WOW. I actually finished outlining a long time ago, it's just i never get the feeling to color it. It was pretty not colored so I didn't know what color I should color it. I knew I wanted it's hair to be white and face to be blueish, but orz when i started it...it didn't look well...I started coloring around 1/19/09 but then I stopped and finished it off today.
I have to say I like it a lot even though there's so many flaws in it. x_X The background magically came to me. I thought hmm...I need a dark background to contrast how light the face is, so I did a navyish blue. Then I though " didn't they have nother light some where in the arctic?" so wala!!

Oh my goodness, the lineart looks amazing. The coloring is wonderful too, but I can see why you would have had a hard time deciding to color it. I especially love her eyes, they're just so amazing! >_< The final product is just beautiful though, thank you for posting it
And the background is really cool, I love how it's Northern Lights-inspired! Makes it even better :3
