in the first page, the sky looks like glass shards containing a fragment of each memory. this is a nod to one of scara’s most inconic lore lines—where he drops the bomb that the sky is false, the stars and heavens are fake. some cracks of the glass sky contain a memory of his, since so too, does he believe the world is an elaborate tapestry of lies. also the forgotten time in the first chat bubble cause yk, he erased himself from existence 😢, and in CN/JP, Ei refers to herself as the Eclipse God.
