Loke was originally part of the story, but I cut that part out as it was well...pointless but I kept him around 'cuz he is adorable.
I had to cut the encounter up as it was growing ridiculously long. Here’s your second part and my vacation was great.

I wouldn't be surprised if you decided to tease us with a few comics of him slooooowly winning her over. I could just see him at first trying to figure out a wait to make his money do the quick work. Write Granger and donation check or something and she goes running to tell Artemis and her snubbing him over it....then finally he realizes that he needs to "see" with his heart like she snarled at him to do and ends up saving a house elf from his father or something. <3

Thank you. I think north movies and books fall into the 'kisses make everything better' trap. Also I recently started writing on DA and I would love it if you took a look at my stories. One is HP related while the other is a Labyrinth fic. You don't have to if you don't want to though.

YES! Thank you! When I read part 1 I was worried that she would just instantly forgive him like so many girls in so many storys do, but I got a really pleasant surprise!

I was playing with the idea, and then it just didn't fit her character. it didn't fit the argument. and I had to change something and instead of changing her, the situation or the argument I just let it flow naturally for them.And as you can tell the kiss soften her. he is after all not in pain

As A Song of Ice & Fire fan, I have to correct that it is Jon Snow, not John Snow.
I love that Artemis is such a strong female character, that she knows nothing can be fixed by a pitiful kiss. I've seen OC's that swoon just over the thought of a kiss, but no, not our Artemis, and that's what I love about her.
I love how the story progresses and I anxiously wait for more.

I've fixed that. I don't read the books, or any books being a listener. so I just assumed with the spelling.
No nothing in this situation would be fixed by a kiss. and she just felt like he wanted to make her feel vonrable playing on her feeelings. a bad move on his part.
