I keep un-focusing from my own not-so-original-fan character Artemis and her wuv problems to draw Cas and Ben. I guess there are three main reasons for this,
A. It’s bleeding hard drawing Draco looking attractive. I can never get satisfied with the results. Therefore Ben is much easier cuz he isn’t necessarily drawn to please me.
B. drawing things like this makes me feel self-indulgent, and shamefully-egotistic for some reason.
C. People seem to what to see Ben and Cas and not Ari and Draco. or manly Ben…

But I wanted to. I have drawn so many times, Ben/Cas, Cas/Ben, I got a little jealous of my own pictures… Okay I am insane, I know... I wanted to draw my own character been swooned over and portray the stupid relationship that is Ari and Draco. If one just climbed down from their high horses and admitted their attraction they’d be happy but noooo, they are pure-blooded stubbornness personified.

Ben and Cas relationship is different. It might seem the same but it’s not. Not to me.
Ben unlike Draco doesn’t feel like disserves Cassandra. Ben thinks Cas doesn’t want him due to his unworthiness to breath walk and generally exist. Ask his mother, it is true…
Draco just thinks Ari doesn’t want him. Also he is a bit ashamed to tell her why he bolted from the dance, there for he can never talk to her again. An apology is far beneath him.

Another two problems for the boys are these.
1.Cassandra is muggle-raised, ergo blood tainted. Artemis is tainted by association. The whole death eater purity thing could be compromised if Cassandra has rubbed of on Artemis and not the other way around.
2.They have seen them giggling and swooning over some pictures from a unspecified yearbook, so maybe they are too late.
