The Faerie Gathering
Description: The stars shine brightly,
In the deep blue velvet sky,
Hung up by it's crescent moon,
That lays its gaze upon the lake so fair,
All is still and quiet, for the faeries will come soon.

The willows on the river bed,
hum gently as they pass,
The crickets chirp their cheefrul tune,
Arrived they have at last!

The tiny silver bells,
That addorn their little feet,
Jingle as they sing and dance,
To all their songs so sweet

The ribbons in their silky hair,
drape around their chiffon wings
They laugh and play and carry on,
Til' the eyes if daylight, opens up and drops her tears,
and cries the morning dew.
