Years ago,short after the iron curtain was fallen,
it was quite easy to purchase.
Tons of it were still dug up ,neatly conservated
in the permafrost bottoms of northern Siberia,
frozen since Ice Age.
Nowadays the Chinese bought it up all for their
ivory carving indutries.
Now itΒ΄s not easy to obtain anymore and
almost inaffordable.

i never knew something like that even existed! that sounds like a story from a fairytale. little stories behind the pieces is what really gives an item its value i believe.
