Vulnerable Animals Week 2021Day 1: Africa
I have decided to participate to the challenge this year and I have chosen to draw the Atlas lion even if it is already extinct.
The Barbary lion, or also called the Atlas lion, lived in North Africa, from Morocco to Egypt. Today, that lion is extinct in the wild. Some descendants of the Atlas remain in some Zoos in Morocco, United States and Germany.
