Dragging my soul underYou've torn it all asunder
The hottest breath of hell
Burns deep in my cold shell
You may make the chain
For my aching writhing pain
But I deliver the blow
You came uninvited to my life
Your tongue cutting deeper than any knife
Imprisoned by your misplaced hate
It has become far too late
Your words leave the scars
That form my towering bars
Hope; far too big a burden to bear
Long since you have gone
Blind to how you've done wrong
Even after that which took place
You may have forgotten my face
But here in the mirror I see
Not simply the image of me
But your hands as they pull me down

This is dedicated to the people that never knew me and have long forgotten me but still haunt my dreams.

I've been working on this piece off and on for about a month now and it is a semi-self portrait. The colors were taken from a photo I have of myself and the features of the girl are mostly my own. This is a very personal piece and it reflects how I have felt through most of my life.

There is something about this one - it there's an intensity and a sadness about the face the concepts good but the emotional content goes deeper. nice piece

Thank you very much. I really tried to put my all into this piece and I'm happy my feelings came through. As odd as it sounds sadness is one of my most present inspirations when doing my pieces and with this I wanted to express it as best I could.
