The humanoid cat species known as rycs originate in eastern Rkoa and have spread across the continent and beyond the Marsareneis Mountains into Ofima (which they call Ewfima). The region cohabited by rycs and sanbekas has seen many wars where the two species competed for control of mineral deposits and other resources.
