Even if Zeus' Godly Goodtime is over, I couldn't let another Zeus/cow comic slip.Made loosely based off 's work:
Btw, I can't believe that I didn't realize until I was almost finished coloring that I made this comic in the old format, instead of using the big panels like in the High Heels comic. Oh well.

I think it's less 'heart-broken' and more disgusted. In case you've forgotten what the Olympian pantheon is like, let me remind you: Zeus has two brothers, Poseidon and Hades, and a sister, Hera (who is also his wife). Everyone else is one of their kids, meaning Palutena is either Zeus's daughter or his niece; a fact which has never stopped Zeus from taking his 'lightning bolt' out of his toga in any Greek mythos.Β
So no, Pit isn't heart-broken; and even if he is, it's being crushed under learning that 'keeping it in the family' is very literal for the deities he serves.Β

Fun fact: The English voice of Pit (Antony Del Rio) also voiced young Kratos in God of War: Ghost of Sparta. So they also have that connection in a sense.

Nope according to my sources (not only wikipedia). Zeus transformed Io into a cow to prevent Hera from finding out that Zeus was having an affair. Then the cow was gifted to her to avoid further suspicion, and it didn't work. The story goes as far as claiming that Hera's pet Argos is the origin of the peacock's cool feathers.
But yeah, I'm pretty certain it was Zeus' doing, since he can transform himself and others into animals.

It's long, old and complicated. Some claim that the peacock was created after the event, and some say that it was to scare the cow. I prefer to roll with the one that I find funnier.

Ah, don't worry pit. The first date is always the trial date and if you know Lady Palutena, this date won 't end well.
Palutena wants mortals and Gods coexist with each other, I don 't think she will appreciate watching mortals suffer while Zeus enjoys it.
Trust me Pit, the morals and ideals between Zeus and Palutena are too different for them to be a couple.
But be on your guard though, Zeus may do so many romantic attempts to get a second date from Palutena and 'convince' her to abuse her powers as a God

Judging by the opening dialouge in Kid Icarus: Uprising when Pit and Palutena comment on the time that passed from their last battle with Medusa, I think Pit may be older than Samus. (or it could be a clever way of commenting on the 25 years that has passed since a proper console release of Kid Icarus was last seen)

Makes sense, specially considering the idea of deities and angels to be immortal/ageless/of slow growth.
But that also makes it... weird. If he was 10-ish in Kid Icarus (or a lot older if the above theory is right), he's now in his 30's, or even older, with the mind and body of a teen (at least the wiki claims that he has the appearance of a 13-yeard old guy).
For Pit, being 100-years old wouldn't be a problem if he looks and behaves like a kid. That'd only be naturalΒ (demon children of Disgaea are probably older than the oldest people of Earth). But, if he had the mind of an older man (25 to 40 forΒ pairing purposes) stuck in the body of a young teen... Well, that's a completely different subject.
