Ok, let's see...
The reflection is representing the "her" she's left behind. The ripple in the reflection could indicate her "old life" and that is almost just a slight memory...
She has packed what remained (after leaving her old self and old life) into her suitcase...it contains only the barest essence of who she is. Now she's facing a new life...a new start...and a new salvation (the cross). It's going to be hard...all uphill...but when she gets there...she'll be rewarded with such beauty and majesty that she can't even fathom from the low point where she is now.
The funny thing is that the steps really seem to go nowhere...so, here she is with all these hopes, and her bag containing what little she has left in this world...and when she finally climbs to the top, she'll realize there is really nothing there...it was all for nothing. Then she'll have to go crawling back to her pathetic existance...her dreams of escape, freedom, and a new life....unrealized.

I'll never write this much again. I think this kind of crap all the time...I just never see the point in writing it all out. What I think is pointless. What anyone thinks is pointless....it's not going to make you live longer, or make you rich, or give you love...
