Your insects ( especially the bee's fur) are the quality of an illustrated book. The light wash ( blue background) is aesthetically advantageous for this medium. I often layered every section of my watercolors so much, that they lost this quality. Great work!

Thank you! It's been fun learning to paint in watercolour.
I've always been weary of it since you can't easily hide your mistakes. But I'm enjoying the newfound experience.

Beautiful soft dreamy colors and a lovely composition, contrasting the central butterfly's black wings from one another is no easy job and you made it look effortless!
You did a really nice job on the background as well holding onto those clouds just enough for them to be there and still be made of air!

Thank you so much for that in depth comment. I'm enjoying learning the ways of watercolour, which I have never really done until now.

I haven't dabbled in watercolor at all really but know a few people irl who do including my father and they all say how unforgiving and consequentially rewarding it is to work with, I'm looking forward to following your journey, it's already off to a great start!
