Description Here she is!! I am playing d&d this weekend for the first time in 4ever and I was originally gonna use Silas but for this campaign he doesn't work well for me- so I made a new bab and I'm in love with her!

NAME: Idris Ohna
RACE AND CLASS: Drow Monk
ALIGNMENT: true neutral

Idris lived surrounded by her drow colleagues and originally interested herself in martial arts- but gave up on it early to pursue design. She apprenticed a lead fashion designer in the marketing districts and he lead a team of jewelers and tailors. One day she caught on to how her master's slaves and workers were mistreated and tortured- something commonplace for drows- and found it uncomfortable.

As time went on she decided to show sympathy for them in small ways that did not bode well with her master, as well as any drows that took notice. She began to be punished and harmed for her deeds as they seemed to go against the ways of her people. Her master threatened her to leave or to have her parents slaughtered as to not breed other 'weak minded sods' like her. That night, she assassinated him and fled. From there, she began to see the day and night (literally) differences between her culture and others, and didn't know which one to believe, or if any of them were. She was above fear, confusion, and tired, fascinated.

She found a monastery of monks that decided to take her in after her plea to free her mind of what she was taught- not necessarily because she saw in its entirety the mental and physical torture the majority of the drow endure, but rather she wanted the freedom in her mind to see everything for what it is and decide for herself what culture speaks best for her. From there, she learned meditation, open hand combat, and the way of long death.

Her personality is hard to grasp. She was bred and raised into thinking she was superior than all, and the mistreatment given to underlings was something excusable and arrogance is the best trait in her. Some of these linger very loudly yet, and are hard habits for her to knock. She is learning slowly how to understand manners and humility, but in turn may accidentally share an underhanded compliment or talk herself up as if her presence is a privilege to you. As much as she wants to do good, her line of what IS good is very grey, and she believes her time is incredibly valuable, so she will bargain prices and favors left and right. Her idea of life being disposable still fogs her mind, but it mostly just makes her reckless to her surroundings. She is not above harming nuisances, but generally wouldn't go as far as to kill them. Just.. tread lightly with her.
