Description Jeremy and Nallely passed by Patrick  on their walk back from going into town. Patrick looked at Jeremy from the side, as Jeremy looked at him -but more head on- his head turned and following him as they walked by one another. Patrick moved his eyes forward after they were a ways apart and Jeremy turned back facing forward gripping the paper bag containing the take-out they had purchased for supper. His lip twitched.
Nallely looked up to him, her expression concerned. "What is it?" she asked.
Jeremy put his free hand to the small of Nallely's back and began to push her faster. "Not here," he growled.
They both began to pick up the pace at the same time, jogging across the campus to E. Ripmav. Jeremy locked the door once they were inside and dropped the bag of food to the stairs. "Something's happening," he confessed finally, within the safe reaches of the frat house. "Something big and we're in danger if we don't stop it."
Nallely gasped. "I-"
"No, we at this house, we of this world. Sebastian, Warren and I and those like us," Jeremy said cutting Nallely off.
"What do you mean? What is it?!"
"I don't really know. I've been trying to keep the proper eye on Dean Orrick and that awful son of his, but they've somehow been blocking out the more important things, until just now. The Dean has been filming us all, watching us to slip up and Patrick….he," Jeremy let out a low, angered growl making Nallely step back a little for she wasn't used to Jeremy being so…instinctive. "He did something to Rox and she told him everything she knows about us. He somehow recorded the whole thing and gave it to his father and-"
"What?!" Nallely screeched. "Rox. Our Roxanne told him what you were?! How dare she! When'd this happen? Why'd she-"
"Months ago, back when Pan first disappeared. This whole time they've been pl-" Jeremy cut himself off seeing Sebastian standing at the head of the stairs on the second floor looking down to him and Nallely standing in the foyer. Sebastian's upper lip twitched and in a flash he was standing beside them. Nallely was a little overwhelmed, she hadn't seen him in a while; if she did see him he was in the kitchen drinking, or walking in the door from a fortnights stay away from them, his skin dirty, clothes stained, and eyes somewhat wild; she never asked him where he went, she knew what he had been doing. "This…is a predicament," Sebastian murmured.
Jeremy made a single nod. Sebastian shook his head in disgust, his jaw locked as he ran his mind back through everything he had just heard.
"We need to tell you're mother," Sebastian said.
"My mother?" Jeremy repeated surprised.
"Or your father. They would want to know. We need to end this before it begins."
"I'm afraid it's already started, Sebastian."
"Hmm." Sebastian turned slightly, thinking once more.
Nallely turned to the door, unlocking it  then slowly turning the handle. Jeremy turned quickly and put his hand on hers. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked quietly.
"To Rox. I know she's still here and I am very angry with h-"
"We'll deal with her later…" Jeremy peered over to Sebastian who was still in thought. "…and I know you're uncomfortable around him now, but he's still the same guy, deep down. He feels her loss is his fault…I'm surprised he is even down here," Jeremy said in a quieter tone.
"I can still hear you," Sebastian sighed.
Nallely and Jeremy turned back to Sebastian who was facing them again. "Sorry," both Jeremy and Nallely said. Sebastian nodded.
"What else are we going to do Sandler?" Sebastian then asked, referring  back to his point about Jeremy's parents, the law for North America, the hierarchy.  Jeremy sighed reluctantly. He hated when slayers got out of hand.

Of course Jeremy Sandler knew that Dean Orrick had to be a vampire slayer. His parents had told him since a young age that they were only ever the ones to figure out who were vampires and they just loved exposing them. He had heard of a family on the brink of doing something much like this sixty years before, but the Sandler's weren't the ones to take care of them. Doctor George Alvin's wife, Julia Alvin  -Julia De Barbarac at the time- had been a neighbour to them…
She had watched the family for a while -under command of Maurice Sandler, Jeremy's dad- to make sure nothing came of them, but when she saw they had contacted the nation-wide radio station with news "greater than the second great war" she knew what had to be done, and ripped the  mother and father to pieces after draining them of their blood. She would have killed their teenage son too, but he wasn't there…and didn't seem to engulfed in the family business.
Once again the world that Jeremy belonged to, the world Sebastian belonged to (and longed that Pan could have been a part of) was at risk of exposure once more, and it had to be taken care of.

Nallely was on her way back to her dorm room, to which she rarely used now (only leaving seasonal clothes there), with Jeremy when she saw Rox coming back from the communal bathroom down the hall. Nallely's face got tight when she saw her.
"I cant believe you!" Nallely hissed at her.
Rox looked up from her cosmetics bag. "What?" she asked confused.
Nallely charged to Rox with Jeremy close behind her. "You told him what they were?!" Nallely spat in a loud, angry whisper.
Rox's expression was scared. Her eyes wide and lips closed in a small pucker. She had been terrified of this moment. Since Patrick left her she regretted opening up to him, regretting being so madly head over heals for him, regretted giving him her everything… "I'm sorry, I-"
"Sorry isn't good enough! Have you any idea what you've done?!" Nallely hissed.
Rox risked a look to Jeremy. His expression wasn't angry, it was disappointed. Damn it, that hurt more than yelling. Rox looked back to Nallely slightly confused. "What exactly is going on? It cant be that ba-"
"That bad? That bad?! Rox, Patrick recorded what you told him and gave it to his lunatic of a father we call dean! And Dean Orrick is planning something HUGE and it's going to ruin us all if it gets out!"
Rox bit her bottom lip. What had she done? Rox slid back inside her dorm room. She felt Nallely and Jeremy's eyes on her still, even through the door and they cut her as easily as a knife through warm butter. Nallely and Jeremy were normally very kind, but this time they weren't and Rox deserved it; she knew so.
She didn't know what to do. She had betrayed her friends, practically loosing one -and over a boy. How she missed Selene. Selene who had taken Nallely's bed in Marlie's dorm room and avoided their room at all cost unless Rox was out of it. Rox regretted so much, she couldn't face that any more. She would pack her favourite clothes and her books and then she'd leave.

When Jeremy returned with Nallely back to E. Ripmav -haven retrieved a few of Nallely's things- Sebastian just got off the phone. "My family is coming here," he told Jeremy.
Jeremy looked down to Nallely and nodded her to go up stairs. "They think they can help?" he asked hearing Sebastian's thoughts before he spoke them.
"For now. They're closer than your parents are, if they can take care of this, than Maurice will not have to come here…" Sebastian's didn't care much for Jeremy's father. He had a temper and treacherous mind ten times that of Sarah, and being the one vampire who ruled over the continent, he had a power which he enjoyed to show off. To think he had known about Pan…Sebastian growled slightly remembering Holden telling him that. How he wished he could have went forever without that starving power knowing about her.
Sebastian gave Jeremy a look and was gone out the door. Jeremy sighed.

Patrick was at his house, an old house built more than a century before, falling apart with age. His grandparents had died in this house and the dean refused to sell. He was getting ready for a shift pizza parlour in town when he heard a knock at the door.
Answering it, he saw Sebastian who looked up fro his shoes as the door opened. "Going to invite me in Orrick?" Sebastian smiled.
Patrick jumped back, slamming the door closed, but Sebastian caught it and gently pushed it back open strolling inside as if he owned the place. It'd been a week since Sebastian had something fresh. Patrick's eyes were wide in fear as he watched Sebastian look around the front hall of his house. When Sebastian finally looked back to him he smiled again. "Sooo…" Sebastian said. "What is it going to take to get you to stop your dad from giving us away?"
Patrick spat at him cussing. "You guys killed my grandparents and who knows how many other innocent people!" Patrick exclaimed.
"Yes, would you like to be next?"
Patrick gulped.
Sebastian Raised his eyebrows. "Look, we're good people, good morals. We only take what we need to survive. Thought you'd clue in," he laughed. But then he was in front of Patrick pinning him to the wall several inches off the ground. "There's a hard and easy way to everything. Which one do you choose?"

Adelaide arrived with Keith- leaving Reggie to take care of Angela- about an hour before the deans television crew was supposed to arrive for a pre-interveiw determining whether or not the deans story was actually worth the television broadcast (from what Jeremy gathered from Sebastian who left Patrick unconscious and missing blood on his living room floor).
"Hello Keith, Adelaide," Jeremy greeted at the door.
"Yo," Keith said walking in. It had been a long time since Keith had been here and he was surprised on how little the fraternity had changed. "Where's the dean?"
Jeremy shrugged. "His office preparing I would guess."
Keith nodded. "Julia is still out of town?"
Jeremy nodded. "Hmm."
It was going to be difficult. The plan was to destroy all the evidence the dean had collected against them and, as hard as it might be, not kill Dean Orrick. Their hope was that Beth would come alone, by Jeremy's request. Beth could glamour the dean, to a point, and when the CBC arrived, they would come to find he was a crazy old hoot after all.
Sebastian joined them in the hall with Warren (who would distract the television crew if Beth was late).
"Sebastian, how've you been?" Adelaide smiled weakly as she hugged him.
"Surviving," he said quietly.
Adelaide patted his back. This was the last thing Sebastian wanted to be doing; Adelaide could tell. Though he did not show it to any great extent she could tell his loss consumed him. Yes, he wanted to ensure the protection of his race, but he wanted Pan more. His Pan. Panny. Pandora DeJong. And as much as the Austin's wanted to believe there was a chance Pan could still be alive, they had their doubts now.
It had been nearly five months with not a hair or fibre left of Pan nor Sarah. Pan's parents had already given up and were planning a funeral in month six. Adelaide had received a letter indicating their invitation to attend, to give their respects; but she hadn't the heart to tell her son about it.
"So let's get on with this," said Keith.

The vampires moved swiftly across the campus, blurs past the cameras; Warren simply jogged, besides he only had to wait outside.
The room next Dean Orrick's office was the surveillance room, the connecting door open between them, but the dean didn't look in. He was too preoccupied, watching a particular favourite of his, one he would show the crew. It was months old, but the best evidence he had- save Roxanne's confession.
The dean was trying to catch the middle image, pause the figure when they were in the dead centre of the TV screen. "AHHA!" he smiled. On the screen was Sebastian, in his arms: Pan; from the night everything took a turn for the worst.
And then there was a growl behind him. Dean Orrick turned around. He faced Sebastian and when his eyes caught with the blazing emerald fury belonging to the tall young man,  Sebastian grabbed the cuff of his shirt, growling harder, baring his teeth. Dean Orrick yelled.
The others flew in seconds after, going to individual piles the dean was so kind to set out for them. "This makes everything a hell of a lot easier," Keith laughed stopping the film on the screen, taking the tape out and pulling the film from the tape.
"Sebastian, put him down!" Adelaide ordered. Normally Sebastian wouldn't have picked up the dean, but the image on that screen upon entering made him loose himself in the moment. Sebastian put the dean back down then ran to the surveillance room with his mother, rewinding the newest evidence back and playing it anew to erase it.
"All my work!" Dean Orrick cried. "You! You-" He whirled around grabbing his desk drawer handle and pulled it open. Inside was a very old, very dear family treasure. The dean pulled out a silver dagger. He gripped it tightly, facing it outwards so when he whirled back around he could stake the first vampire closest to him.
And so he turned around, swinging the dagger down towards Jeremy's back, but then he stopped. Someone was holding his wrist -hard. He turned his head seeing a tall woman with short blonde hair, a vampire he didn't remember seeing coming into his office and destroying his life's work. Jeremy turned to his mother and smiled.

"It's nice to see you again, Addie," Beth smiled putting her hand over Adelaide's as they sat at the kitchenette island in the Austin's cottage.
"I wish I could say the same," Adelaide sighed. She peered over her shoulder to her son. He was sitting on the stairs starring in shock at the invite to Pan's funeral. They requested him to bring photos, since he was her closest friend, her boyfriend, her best friend.
