It's funny how a simple picture, or rather, what it symbolizes, can shake your foundation. Rather unexpectedly, as well.
I've been content as a bachelor for years after my last fiasco, yet now I'm filled with desire to have someone, to hold like this, again. Is it just that instinctual urge that I happened to repress? Or is there really something more that I'm truly missing?
I'm not sure whether to be angry or thankful. Just know that your innocent picture spurred me to begin the chase again, for better or for worse.
