Description I've always been interested in passenger pigeons and the cruel fate we dealt them, but only recently has it turned into a full blown obsession.  September 1st will mark the 100th year since we hunted this beautiful bird into extinction.  Also, I totally BS'd the wings.  I have no idea what I'm doing.  Go easy on me...it's been a loooong time since I've tried anything like this.

Aw, thanks very much about the wings! ^^   The pigeons were primarily hunted as a cheap source of meat, although the feathers were used in bedding.  In fact, pigeon-feather beds were included as part of a dowry in areas of Quebec and were used all over the place.
