"Am I ever going to go back home?" the little girl asked, holding her bowl of soup carefully between her hands.
"It's unlikely, but I'll see what I can do."
"No. I don't want to go back."
"Why is that?"
She stared at him, the look on her face radiating her innocence.
"There's nobody left."

Omni has been winning the poll for "most wanted OC to be seen" at the moment, so I decided to draw a bit of Omni backstory (after the sudden realization that I have barely drawn Omni except for comedy usually involving Chipper).
There's a lot I actually want to put into her, she's a loveable OC with a bit of a dark past, but that's what draws her to stay in Eden and shapes her personality to who she is today.

Omni was born in the 1300s, and she was 6 during the time of the black plague. Her family members were wiped out one by one during a two year period, making Omni 8 by the time she had no one left to care for her. It wasn't until she stumbled and fell into a realm rift that she was transported into Eden, where she got scratched up pretty bad afterward. She had minor symptoms of the plague (and malnourishment) when Aris found her and helped bring her back up to health. This picture takes about 5 days after she was treated, also before Aris had lost his arm and pieces of his soul

Omni had seen plague doctors before, so she was rather used to the look of Ornithreans (Aris, in this case) and wasn't afraid at all. On a lighter note, Aris let Omni touch his face often and it made her happy. Something about the beaks infatuated her, I suppose?

Omni's real name is actually Alice, but since humans technically aren't apart of Eden, for safety reasons, she was given a mask and a new identity. Since she constantly hung around Aris, she was safe from people asking questions and not giving her lack of a "mouth" any thought, since.. well... you know, Aris doesn't have a mouth either haha
