Description Little weird birdi, hatched from an elk egg, with antlers instead of wings.
Of course, its life was quite short.

The anatomy here is all wonky. Searching for references, I realised how clueless I was about bird anatomy. For a start, I always assumed that the flat cartilage part that was on top on roasted chicken was the back of the bird. No, it's the 'belly'. *very-stupid-me*. Damn thing, alway upside down on the plate.

I've never looked into bird anatomy except to know where the meat is I like (the bottom) . I think it looks great! I love bones and the antlers add a unique beauty to it.
