but when I listen to teir music it makes me want to scream the words, and sometimes it slips out XD
All of my friends know who Dir en Grey is, that because I talk about them, all the time <_<

I try so hard to get my friends into them, I have found a couple of soungs they like, but not enough to hook them in yet, I do have like... two friends who listen to them, but one is a newb, and the other lives in North Dakota D: (I used to know her super well, but then she moved)

But they know I'm just kidding, but most of them are into some of the same stuff
Like if I try to show them something of Dir en Grey, they force me to listen to their music too

I'm not really too picky, I just won't be the happiest unless it's something I like. And I'll be really happy if it's Dir en grey...but if I show my friends it I feel weird because I know they probably won't like it. Not even because of the music itself, but because, for people who don't listen to Japanese music or anything, Kyo's voice sounds pretty weird.

yeah I understand, I tried showing my mom some stuff, but it was hard for her to like any of it, because she didn't understand what he was saying, but I did get her into some songs, but some of their older stuff

My parents have heard Diru stuff whenever we play music in the car....which is all the time xD But they are NOT too fond of it. At all In fact, right now we're playing Ware, yami tote on an iPod speaker in the kitchen/den, and both my parents are here...c:

Ha ha yeah, if you want them to not hate them, just find a song you think they would like, its hard not to find a song somebody would like from dir en grey.

Hahaha my favorite song is Mushi, but I only watch the live from Blitz 5days-which makes me cry ;_;-and only that...not even the real song, or I think I'll be listening to it too much and then it won't be the same. I'm weird like that xD
But anyway, my parents have heard pretty much all the songs by them that we have, and they've never said anything necessarily good about them...:\ I would think my mom would at least like Hotarubi, but I've played it and she hasn't commented, so I have no idea

yeah, I understand though, Dir en Grey is a pretty intense band, hearing japanese, seeing kyoness, hearing loudness, and all that jazz, some people just don't like it.
I remember the first time i listened to dir en grey
It was obscure and my friend was trying to scare me
it didn't work and I ended up falling in love with the band <3

I don't remember the first time I listened to Diru, but my sister added Withering to death on our iTunes, and I kind of listened it for two years until I finally got the newer albums and really fell in love. ;D

Lmao, I never did that...
I watched Obscure later and loved it, of course, and I listened to other crazily amazing things by them (For example, ZAN...who doesn't love to hear Kyo laughing insanely? )
But the first time I really listened to Dir en grey was listening to Merciless Cult and Kodou while eating honeynut cheerios in the morning on the bus. c:
And after I got Uroboros, I looked them up...saw Die in his awesome leather outfit with the big red hair...saw more pictures of the band (mostly in their VK days) and fell in love ^^
Saying that thing about ZAN makes me excited for the new single...with a new recorded version of ZAN and Shokubeni!! x]
