Everyone has their own gaming style, so it's understandable. ^‿^
Grouping- heck, the game mechanics in general- are going to be very different in GW2. It's an open world map, like some other MMO's out there, rather than it being instanced maps. So joining a group won't be necessary, but still a very good option (especially for events and boss fights in general). There is more info on it on their official site: [link]
And thanks! -hugs-

The only reason why I picked up Guild Wars is that it promised me a Necromancer as a Player Character (they are sexy and awesome to play)
But the maps took so long to load I lost patience. :/
I may pick up GW2 if I hear good things about it.
The company did another game called Aion (subcription based) and it was...eh. Pretty but mechanic wise it was eh.
It was Guild Wars but with Angels.

Aye, the maps did take a long time to load (the first time around). That's because they were instanced. Y_Y It was still worth it for me, I had a lot of good times playing. I really miss it, but it's just not the same without my friends on. I had really wanted to play Aion but because none of my friends did (plus the subscription fee) I never did pick it up. A-net does wonderful things IMO.

Why not come to my server? Though I haven't been playing much & probably won't be renewing for a while, at least until I can afford it. >_>
