I'm gonna say what i think overall first, then get into detail.

Overall, I think this is amazing and has a lot of love and detail put into it!!

Ok, now here's some details.


Vision: I think everything is executed pretty great. On terms of literal vision, it's kinda too blurred on some points. Some areas I can't make out very well. But some other areas of the drawing have a whole bunch of detail! Great work, only a little bit needs to be worked on as far as i'm concerned.


Originality: With the background, i've seen similar. But the way you do it brings it to a whole other level! I think the character brings it all together though. They look like they belong there and make the piece really stand out.


Technique: Some of it ties in \to vision, but most of it is perfect. I love what you did and how you did it!


Impact: It is so beautiful to me and will sure be impactful to others. Like gosh, so nice. I just, i'm kinda speechless. Everything is so great.

i think this piece is really gorgeous, to start out my critique. i love the perspective and the use of the blur tool in some places to bring attention to others. let me explain my ratings!

vision: overall the colors and blending work great together. the lighting and the shading are very well done! i gave it a 4/5 because i believe there is always room for improvement, but i also believe it's very incredible.

originality: while i have definitely seen ocs in the forest before - this one has a very unique setting with the placement of the land and the perspective, i enjoy the slight aerial view.

technique: the brushes used for this drawing are very fitting and appealing to the eye! i find that there was lots of love and time put into this drawing.

impact: this is definitely the type of drawing that i could remember after closing out of deviantart and going about my merry business. it's almost straight out a story book, and i find it super awesome all around.

i think for an overall score i would give it a 4.1 out of 5.

a few things you could work on - fitting the character into the shot with the perspective given - which would show more of the top part of the back! another could be to find some brushes that would work to make the water parts look a bit more liquefied!

but yeah, i think this is super awesome and i put it in my favs instantly :}

this is perfect and should be put in the fucking museum of modern art honestly. okay Maybe im a little biased and all but fuck that erin!!! this is amazing!!!!!! honestly in my humble and extremely right opinion (in this case, at least), this is 10000000% perfect!! i love it. i love the little fish in the water and the tree's shadow and the color of the water and tansy's ADORAble lil face and the flowers and the lil islands.........everything is perfect amazing and yes. im givin this a 100% because that is literally and honestly how i feel about it. no joke erin, this is a MASTERPIECE. peace yall

AHhh ive always really, really liked how you draw backgrounds and foresty scenes in general! the perspective is rlly beautiful and the way it doesnt focus on the tree in the Front gives it a nice overview (is tht the right word ?? ^_^) the colours r real nice and blend in nicely, n the character is Super Duper cute too!!!! honestly your art Never fails to impress me n im always excited to see u post!
