Just a few messy practice sketches . . . is it just me, or is this guy hard to draw consistently? Every once in a while I feel like he comes out looking like a Muppet.Wreck-It Ralph (c) Disney

You have gotten better at drawing Ralph, now that I think about it. Espicaly the AU version of Ralph in your new story. He looks so....distant. Like his mind is in another world.

The hands are a bit small (I think, but I have horrible eyes, so they could be just the right scale), but the faces are great. I think my favorites are the top right-hand corner, the hand-behind-the-head right beneath it, and the pupilless "Good God, what I have I gotten myself into" face

You're right, his hands are too small in this. I was still kind of figuring him out when I drew this. His proportions can be tricky to nail!

His face also tends to be a little too square. Which is weird; the majority of his body is square, but his face and head tend to be a bit more rounded. But my drawing skills are barely above beginner's stick figures, and your drawings are amazing!

Oh gosh, about a 1/3 of my big, fat sketchbook is nothing but him (and Vanellope.) Yep, he's tough. It may help to break him down into shapes. I think they look great for "messy practice sketches."
One more thing... you've got his nose dead-on (or at least I think that.) For some strange reason, his nose is tough for me!

He is indeed difficult to draw! I struggle with the shape of his face more than anything.
